Glossop Happy Ramblers Terms & Conditions

New members are encouraged to join and can walk with us on three occasions before deciding to enrol. The membership fee is currently £10.00 payable on enrolment and every November thereafter at the AGM to our Membership Secretary.

In joining the Glossop Happy Ramblers, I acknowledge that;

​

• Taking part in any of the activities, is at my own risk.

• Dogs are not allowed on the walks. The presence of a dog in a walking group increases the level of agitation for the cattle we encounter on our walks. 

• All walks commence from the meeting point as stated in the walk description.

• A register of walkers must be completed on each walk and retained for the Walks Coordinator.

• Incidents on a walk must be brought to the attention of the walk leader who will complete an Incident Report.

• I must not walk ahead of the walk leader who sets the pace for the group on a planned walk.

• When walking on roads I will keep in single file behind the walk leader.

• GHR may need to contact me about walk information, social events and any other regular or emergency contact. Please read our privacy policy here
